Research Focus

Pillars of modern physics are quantum physics and Einstein ’s theory of relativity. At a fundamental level quantum theory defies our common-sense notion of reality. Countless experiments have confirmed the validity of quantum theory. At a macroscopic scale quantum physics becomes even more interesting. The main question that arises at a large scale, is it possible to produce a quantum superposition or a quantum entanglement of macroscopic objects (Schrodinger-cat paradox)?. What is a consistent interpretation of quantum mechanics that can also explain classical observed reality. I am scientifically exploring answer of such questions in addition to experimental research on BEC and quantum light.
