ALUMNI

Alumni Association

IISER Mohali has a vast network all over the world through its alumni. This network guides the current students to pursue further growth of their career in near future. The achievements of our alumni helps the incoming students to decide their path of career by aligning their passion and aim. This alumni association plays a key role in shaping and fostering scientific aptitude among the young minds. IISER Mohali tries its best to maintain the alumni association and request its past students to register here.
Brief description

IISER Mohali Alumni association is an independent society of the alumni of IISER Mohali, which will soon be registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Association was established in 2017 with the aim of connecting the alumni with the institute. The Association also wishes to act as the platform through which the alumni may contribute to the growth of the institute. An important aspect in which the Association hopes to contribute to the institute is by engaging with the current students so that they have the necessary exposure to make informed decisions. In the same vein, the Association hopes to create a network of Alumni to promote professional and personal well-being of its members. An annual Alumni Meet is hosted in the institute to improve engagement amongst the Alumni, students and the institute. The association also commends graduating students for excellence in leadership and outreach through its AALO awards initiative.

Objectives:

1. To provide a vibrant forum that promotes interaction and networking among alumni of the Institute;

2. To help alumni achieve their professional and societal goals;

3. To facilitate the association of alumni with their Alma Mater;

4. To contribute to the Institute’s vision of being recognized among the world’s leading institutions in academics, research, outreach, and innovation;

5. To function on charitable basis, and to run the Association on ‘no profit no loss’ basis;

6. To promote best practices in different areas of science, technology, humanities and social sciences for the benefit of the society, especially the weaker sections;

7. To create awareness about the Institute and its alumni in the public; and

8. To help alumni in their hour of need.
