Helicity amplitudes - a simplifying technique for precision calculations

Abstract: Precision calculations in hadronic processes at high energy colliders are crucial in improving the understanding of the standard phenomena as well as for the discovery of new physics. Spinor-helicity formalism serves as one of the most efficient ways to simplify the calculation of $S$ matrix elements for any process in precision calculation. In this talk, I will discuss implementation of spinor-helicity formalism for $S$ matrix elements calculation. I will show how the computation of $S$ matrix elements for the process $q\Bar{q}\rightarrow q\Bar{q}g$ mediated by photon and gluon gets simplified using spinor - helicity formalism.
