IISER MOHALI

The celebrations will start on the morning of 26 September, with an Institute Open Day, during which nearly 2,000 school students from the nearby region are expected to visit our campus. Our students, research scholars, and faculty colleagues will organize a range of engaging activities and demonstrations for visiting students in AB1, AB2, and the Lecture Hall Complex.

On the afternoon of 26th September, we will host a Symposium on Exploring Inter-Institutional Opportunities for Collaboration in Science and Technology. Heads or representatives from neighboring scientific and academic institutions that include NABI, INST, IMTECH, CSIO, NIPER, Plaksha University, IIT Ropar, PEC, PSCST, and SCL will share their institutions’ major activities, achievements, future plans, and perspectives on opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration and partnerships. This event is expected to provide an excellent platform for meaningful interactions and for identifying new avenues of collaboration.

The symposium will be followed by a Cultural Evening at LH7.

On 27th morning Prof. Shekhar Mande, President of the Indian National Science Academy, and the Chief Guest for this year’s Foundation Day Celebration will inaugurate the Innovation Lab in the presence of Prof. J. S. Yadav, Chairperson of the Board of Governors at IISER Mohali and Prof. Anil Kumar Tripathi, Director IISER Mohali.

Professor Shekhar Mande will deliver the Foundation Day Lecture on 27th afternoon. Mr. Kamal K. Yadav, IAS, Administrative Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology for the Government of Punjab, will serve as the Guest of Honor, and Prof. J.S. Yadav will preside over the function
