Complex Analysis
Research Interests
My research interest lies in complex analysis in several variables with the primary focus being holomorphic dynamics in several variables. Using techniques from dynamical systems, complex geometric analysis, and potential theory, I study certain aspects of polynomial automorphisms in several variables under iteration. More specifically, I am interested in Hénon maps which are polynomial automorphisms of two dimensional complex space. Currently I am also looking at local dynamics of a particular class of non-polynomial automorphisms, namely the resonant maps. A part of my current research interest lies in complex function theory and complex geometry. To be more specific, I am interested in studying union problem. This asks if a complex manifold is an increasing union of a fixed complex manifold, then whether the final union can be described in terms of the exhausting complex manifold.
