Research Area
Algebraic Geometry, Motives.
Research Interests
I have been interested in the theory of motives a la Grothendieck and a la Voevodsky. I have been particularly interested in those motives that are natural in the study of Shimura varieties, but many of my constructions are applicable to arbitrary varieties. My work includes construction of specific weight truncations in the motivic categories, and in turn has consequences for Shimura varieties. I have also proposed new ways to glue t-structures and weight structures which has broader applications.
