About the Speaker: C. A. Tomy is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hyderabad. He has previously held academic positions at several institutions in India, including the Indian Institutes of Technology in Delhi and Kanpur, as well as Goa University. In 2018, he joined the Department of Philosophy, University of Hyderabad. He served as Head of the Department from 2019 to 2022. His primary areas of research and teaching include the philosophy of mind and cognition and the philosophy of language.
