Foundation Day

 

Professor M. M. Sharma, FRS, Former Director, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, delivered the Foundation Day Lecture on September 27, 2015, focusing on excellent research that could be carried out in the laboratory and how the same could be extended in industry with fruitful results for society. He urged the faculty and students to excel in their pursuit of knowledge and also try to convert knowledge into wealth.

The IISER Mohali foundation day was celebrated on September 27, 2017.  Dr. Madhavan Nair Rajeevan, Secretary,  Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India delivered the Foundation Day Lecture.  Prof. Debi P Sarkar, Director IISER Mohali gave the welcome address and spoke about the achievements of the Institute during the year that had passed since the last foundation day.

Teachers Day Celebration

 

 

 

Teachers’ Day was celebrated in the Institute on September 05, 2015. The Best Teacher Award for the year 2015 was shared by Dr. Mahak Sharma (Department of Biological Sciences) and Dr. Abhishek Chaudhuri (Department of Physical Sciences).

 

Fifth Convocation at IISER Mohali

 

The fifth convocation at IISER Mohali was held on May 24, 2016. The Chief Guest was Prof.  T. V. Ramakrishnan, FNA, FASC, FRS.  

Fourth Convocation at IISER Mohali

 

Fourth convocation at IISER Mohali was held on May 29, 2015. Professor K. K. Talwar, Chairman Board of Governors IISER Mohali presided over the function. Chief Guest was Dr. M. V. S. Valiathan, National Research Professor, Manipal University.

 

 

 

Republic Day Celebration at IISER Mohali

 

Republic Day 2017 celebrated at IISER Mohali Campus. National Flag was hosted by Prof N Sathyamurthy Director IISER Mohali in the presence of Dr. P. Bapaiah Registrar IISER Mohali, faculty members and other staff members. CNR Rao foundation award, Academic Excellence awards were presented to the students by the Director on this occasion.  

 

 

Independence Day Celebration at IISER Mohali

 

Independence Day 2016 celebrated at IISER Mohali Campus. National Flag was hoisted by Prof N Sathyamurthy Director IISER Mohali in the presence of Dr. P. Bapaiah Registrar IISER Mohali, faculty members and other staff members. CNR Rao foundation award and Academic Excellence awards were presented to the students by the Director on this occasion.
